To join an existing AA Smartfuel Group, the Primary Cardholder needs to send you an invitation to join their Group.

FAQ: If I join an AA Smartfuel Group, will others in the Group be able to view my personal information?

No, your personal information is kept private and is only available for you to view.

FAQ: Can I remove cardholders from my AA Smartfuel Group?

No, you can only remove yourself from groups. Primary cardholders can remove anyone from their group by calling 0800 500 444 anytime Monday to Friday between 8am and 6pm.

FAQ: Can I leave an AA Smartfuel Group?

Yes. Log into your account and click 'Your AA Smartfuel Account'. Select ‘Remove cardholder from your Group’ and click 'Unlink card'. You can now join another Group, or set up your own Group if you wish.

 

FAQ: Can I belong to more than one AA Smartfuel Group?

No, you can only belong to one AA Smartfuel Group at a time. You can leave a Group and join another Group at any time, taking only your own unused/unredeemed accumulated discounts with you to the new Group.

FAQ: What is an AA Smartfuel Group?

An AA Smartfuel Group allows two or more AA Members or AA Smartfuel cardholders to earn and redeem discounts together. All discounts accumulated by the AA Smartfuel Group participants are added together for the AA Smartfuel Group discount balance.

FAQ: Can I invite more cardholders to my AA Smartfuel Group at a later time?

You can do this from from your AA Smartfuel Account screen.  Log into your account and click 'Your AA Smartfuel Account'.  Select ‘Link another cardholder to your account group’. Any discounts they have accumulated in their account will be added to the Group discount balance, and they will be able to redeem from the Group discount balance.
